"Genshin Impact 5.5 Adds Android Controller Support"

If you're a *Genshin Impact* enthusiast playing on Android, get ready for some exciting news! The long-awaited controller support is finally making its way to the game with the upcoming Version 5.5 update. iOS users have enjoyed this feature since 2021, and now it's Android's turn to experience the game with enhanced controls.

When Will Genshin Impact Get Controller Support on Android?

Mark your calendars for March 26th, 2025, as this is when you'll be able to connect your Android device to a controller and dive into the world of *Genshin Impact* without relying on the touchscreen. The update will officially support four controllers: DualShock 4, DualSense, Xbox Wireless Controller, and Xbox Elite Wireless Controller Series 2. Keep in mind, all of these require Bluetooth connectivity.

In addition to controller support, Version 5.5 will introduce several quality-of-life improvements. One of the highlights is the cross-scene quest tracking feature, allowing you to seamlessly track quests across different areas. Simply open the map and teleport directly to your desired destination, making your adventures smoother and more efficient.

The update will also enhance boss guides, making it easier for newer players to grasp enemy mechanics. Furthermore, optimizations are in store for the Artifact system, Serenitea Pot, and Mail system. While full details on these enhancements will be unveiled during the Special Program Announcement on March 14th, you can stay ahead of the curve by checking out the Developer’s Discussion for the month of March.
