Author : Oliver Mar 18,2025

Summary

  • 75 games will leverage DLSS 4 Multi-Frame Generation, initially exclusive to RTX 50 GPUs, significantly boosting FPS.
  • Nvidia's Blackwell GPUs (RTX 50 series), spearheaded by the $1999 RTX 5090, introduce enhanced DLSS technology.
  • DLSS 4 and Multi-Frame Generation features will eventually extend beyond the RTX 50 series.

Following Nvidia's CES 2025 keynote, the company announced that 75 games will support DLSS 4 Multi-Frame Generation, a feature initially exclusive to their RTX 50 series graphics cards. This exciting technology will power enhanced visuals in titles like Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, Cyberpunk 2077, and Marvel Rivals, among others, upon the RTX 50 GPUs' release.

Codenamed Blackwell, the next-generation Nvidia GPUs build upon the Ada Lovelace architecture, featuring significant improvements to DLSS. Launching in January, the RTX 50 series introduces Multi-Frame Generation, dramatically increasing frames per second (FPS) in supported games compared to previous Frame Generation technology. The flagship RTX 5090, boasting 32GB of GDDR7 memory, will retail for $1999. The RTX 5080, 5070 Ti, and 5070 will have starting prices of $999, $749, and $549 respectively.

Nvidia highlighted the transformative potential of DLSS 4 and Multi-Frame Generation, showcasing a list of 75 games and applications with immediate support upon the RTX 50 series launch. Using Cyberpunk 2077 as an example, Nvidia demonstrated a frame rate increase from under 30 FPS (with ray tracing enabled and DLSS/Multi-Frame Generation disabled) to an impressive 236 FPS on the RTX 5090 with the new features activated.
