Final Fantasy XIV's Free Login Campaign Returns!

Square Enix has re-launched its popular Free Login Campaign for Final Fantasy XIV, giving players with inactive accounts a chance to return to Eorzea for a limited time. This campaign runs until February 6th, 2025, offering up to four consecutive days of free gameplay on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox platforms.

The campaign kicked off on January 9th, 2025, shortly after the release of Patch 7.15, which included new side quests, the return of the Hildibrand storyline, and a fresh Custom Delivery client. Producer and director Naoki Yoshida's New Year's message also teased upcoming content, including Patches 7.2 and 7.3, slated for release in 2025, along with cryptic hints about the Dawntrail storyline's future.

This free period provides a perfect opportunity for lapsed players to catch up on the Dawntrail expansion's content before the release of Patch 7.2. The 96-hour play timer begins upon logging into the game launcher. Eligibility requires a previously purchased and registered Final Fantasy XIV account that has been inactive for at least 30 days prior to the campaign start. Accounts suspended or canceled for violating terms of service are not eligible. Players can verify their eligibility through the Mog Station.

While the Free Login Campaign is active, players can also participate in the Heavensturn event (ending January 16th), earning a special minion reward. Patch 7.16, concluding the Dawntrail Role Quest series, arrives on January 21st.

Don't miss this chance to rediscover the world of Eorzea! Check your eligibility on the Mog Station and prepare for your return to adventure.
