Square Enix has officially announced the PC release of the acclaimed Final Fantasy XVI, slated for September 17th. This announcement carries significant weight, as Takai's statements suggest a potential shift towards simultaneous multi-platform releases for future titles in the franchise.The PC version will be available for purchase at $49.99, with a Complete Edition priced at $69.99, including the "Echoes of the Fallen" and "The Rising Tide" story expansions.
