Epic Cards Battle 3 Is A Storm Wars-Style Collectible Card Game On Android

Epic Cards Battle 3: A Deep Dive into a Strategic Card Battler

Epic Cards Battle 3, the latest installment from momoStorm Entertainment, plunges players into a captivating world of strategic card battles, fantasy elements, and tactical combat. This collectible card game (CCG) builds upon its predecessors, offering a rich and expansive experience.

The game's core gameplay revolves around collecting and battling with cards. However, ECB3 distinguishes itself through its diverse gameplay modes. Players can engage in Player vs. Player (PvP), Player vs. Environment (PvE), RPG-style adventures, and even Auto Chess-inspired battles. This variety ensures a constantly engaging experience.

A key innovation in ECB3 is its card design, heavily influenced by the Genshin Impact battle system. Eight distinct factions—Shrine, Dragonborn, Elves, Nature, Demons, Darkrealm, Dynasty, and Segiku—each boast unique units and strategies. Furthermore, units are categorized into six professions, ranging from stalwart warriors and durable tanks to swift assassins and powerful warlocks. Hidden rare cards can be unearthed by opening packs or upgrading existing cards, adding a layer of depth to collection building. A forthcoming card exchange system promises even more strategic options.

Adding another dimension to the gameplay is the elemental system. Eight elements—Ice, Fire, Earth, Storm, Light, Shadow, Lightning, and Toxic—interact to create dynamic and unpredictable battles. Strategic spellcasting becomes crucial as players leverage elemental advantages.

Battles unfold on a 4x7 mini-chessboard, demanding careful card placement and tactical positioning. For those seeking a challenge, a Speed Run mode allows players to test their strategic prowess against the clock.

Is it Worth a Try?

While ECB3 offers a wealth of features and strategic depth, it's not a game for complete beginners. The complexity and strategic nuances might prove challenging for newcomers to the CCG genre. Ultimately, the smoothness of the experience is subjective and requires personal testing. The game bears some resemblance to Storm Wars in its design and mechanics.

If you're a fan of CCGs and are seeking a new challenge, Epic Cards Battle 3 is available for free on the Google Play Store. However, if card games aren't your cup of tea, consider checking out our review of Narqubis, a thrilling space survival shooter.
