This ambitious undertaking began on December 16, 2024. His initial plan involved tackling various FromSoftware bosses, but his university studies limited his available time.
Messmer, the notoriously difficult second antagonist from the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC, presents a significant hurdle. Players commonly report needing 30 to over 150 attempts to defeat him, even with optimal equipment. chickensandwich420's challenge is truly remarkable.
A June Deadline: A Contingency Plan
However, chickensandwich420 has set a self-imposed deadline: June. If Nightreign doesn't release by then, he'll shift his focus to other games. This equates to over 160 days of battling Messmer. At the time of writing, he's reached day 23.
