Disney Dreamlight Valley's Lucky Dragon update has arrived, bringing Mulan and Mushu to the Valley! This highly anticipated June 26th update features not only a new Realm and beloved characters, but also significant gameplay enhancements. Recent weeks saw teasers hinting at the update's arrival, promising a new Realm, decorating system improvements, a "Memory Mania" event tied to the release of Inside Out 2, and the Majesty and Magnolias Star Path with exclusive rewards.
The update follows the successful Dreamlight Parks Fest (May 15th - June 5th), which offered themed recipes and furniture. A Pride Month celebration also introduced colorful Pride-themed items.
The Lucky Dragon update introduces a new Realm accessible via a newly opened door. Players embark on Mushu's training camp to awaken Mulan, then participate in challenges to earn their friendship. Once befriended, Mulan and Mushu can join the Valley, with accompanying quests involving Mushu's Dragon Temple and Mulan's Tea Stall (providing new recipe ingredients). The Majesty and Magnolias Star Path offers Mulan-themed rewards, including attire and décor.
Further additions include the Island Getaway House Bundle in the Premium Shop, featuring Lilo & Stitch themed items and a new Sun & Surf Stitch outfit. The "Memory Mania" event, inspired by Inside Out 2, challenges players to find Riley's belongings to unlock emotion-themed animal companions.
Remy's daily food delivery quests reward players with Wrought Iron, used to craft new outdoor furniture for Chez Remy.
