"Discovering and Utilizing the Celestial Codex in Marvel Rivals"

Author : Joseph Apr 12,2025

In *Marvel Rivals*, teamwork is essential for achieving common goals, but the game also offers solo objectives through a variety of Achievements. One particularly challenging Achievement involves the Celestial Codex. Here's a comprehensive guide on how to find and use the Celestial Codex in *Marvel Rivals*.

How To Find the Celestial Codex in Marvel Rivals

Klyntar in Marvel Rivals as part of an article about the Celestial Codex

As you explore the Chronoverse Saga Achievements for Season 1 of *Marvel Rivals*, you'll encounter several intriguing challenges. One requires you to use an emote as a Norse God, while another involves locating a statue of a prominent Wakandan figure. However, the VENI VIDI V…? Achievement stands out as particularly elusive, despite its seemingly simple description.

To complete this Achievement, you must locate the Celestial Codex and spray the terminal near it. The catch? The Celestial Codex is exclusively found on the Klyntar map, and you can only achieve this in Quick Play mode, making it a matter of chance when you'll get to play on this specific location.

Once you're in a match on Klyntar, pay close attention to your team's side. The Celestial Codex is a large, distinctive blob located in the attacking spawn. If you spawn on the attacking side, you can quickly find the object and complete the challenge. However, if you're on the defending side, you'll need to wait until the opposing team captures the first checkpoint before you can access their spawn area.

How To Use the Celestial Codex in Marvel Rivals

Locating the Celestial Codex is just the first step; knowing how to use it is crucial. Regardless of whether you're on the attacking or defending team, familiarize yourself with the spray button (T on PC and left on the D-pad on consoles). You can use any spray on the terminal in front of the Celestial Codex, but it's wise to cover the spot thoroughly to ensure the Achievement registers when you return to the lobby.

If you're on the defending side and planning to visit the enemy's original spawn, stay alert. Although encounters at the Celestial Codex are rare, it's better to be cautious. Opt for mobile characters like Spider-Man or Rocket to quickly escape if necessary.

Lastly, don't leave the game immediately after completing the VENI VIDI V…? Achievement. Abandoning your team mid-match is poor sportsmanship, and there's a risk that the Achievement won't count if the game's stats aren't properly logged. Stick around and help your team secure a victory, even if you've completed the challenge early in the match.
