How to Make the Dawning Neomun-Cake in Destiny 2

Author : Jason Jan 25,2025

The Destiny 2 Dawning event returns annually, tasking players with baking treats for various NPCs. While recipes often remain consistent, new additions are common. This guide details crafting the Neomun-Cake.

Neomun-Cake Ingredients:

To bake the Neomun-Cake, you'll need:

  • Vex Milk (Acquired by defeating Vex enemies)
  • Dark Frosting (Acquired by defeating enemies using Stasis or Strand weapons/abilities)
  • 15 Dawning Essence (Earned through various in-game activities)

Dawning Essence is readily obtained through standard gameplay, weekly, and daily activities.

Ingredient Acquisition:

Equip a Stasis or Strand weapon (abilities also work). Nessus is ideal for Vex farming, offering numerous Vex encounters through exploration or Lost Sectors. Strikes provide an alternative, though Nessus is generally faster.

Once you've gathered all ingredients, access your inventory and select Eva Levante's Holiday Oven 2.4. Select the Neomun-Cake recipe to begin crafting.

The Dawning often includes quests demanding multiple baked goods for different NPCs. The Neomun-Cake is a common requirement; for example, the Cookie Delivery Helper quest necessitates its creation alongside others like the Lavender Ribbon Cookies (a returning recipe).

This concludes the Neomun-Cake crafting guide for Destiny 2's Dawning event. Consult The Escapist for additional Destiny 2 tips and information.
