China has approved the release of the Genshin Impact, GTA and ZZZ hybrid

Ananta, formerly known as Project Mugen, is gearing up for launch. This highly anticipated game, a blend of popular titles like Genshin Impact, Zenless Zone Zero, and even elements reminiscent of GTA, is set to release in 2025 on PC, PlayStation 5, and mobile devices. Its anime-style aesthetic has already generated significant buzz.

Early promotional material showcases Ananta's unique appeal. The December 5th trailer revealed an open-world urban RPG set in the sun-kissed coastal city of Nova. Players take on the role of an A.C.D. agent, uncovering mysteries and exploring this intriguing location.

The ambitious project is a collaborative effort between NetEase Studios, Thunder Fire Studio, and Naked Rain. Its blend of familiar environments with supernatural elements is attracting global attention. Key features highlighted include four-player team-based battles, a striking art style, and fluid, high-speed movement. The game's approval in China further solidifies its path to a successful launch.
