Botany Manor Announces New PS5 Release Date

Botany Manor's PlayStation Debut Set for January 28th

Initially slated for a December 17th release, the critically acclaimed puzzle game Botany Manor will finally arrive on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 on January 28th. This charming title, developed by Balloon Studios and published by Whitethorn Games, originally launched on Nintendo Switch, Xbox, and PC in April 2024 to widespread praise.

The delay, announced shortly before the December release date, was attributed to the developers' commitment to delivering the best possible player experience. Whitethorn Games confirmed the new January 28th launch date on January 9th.

While the game's PS Store page is yet to appear, pre-ordering may not be possible just yet. The PlayStation version is expected to retail at $24.99, consistent with other platforms, and will remain a one-time purchase without microtransactions. The digital soundtrack, available separately on Steam, is unlikely to be offered on the PlayStation Store.

Botany Manor Enhances PlayStation's Puzzle Game Lineup

Botany Manor earned significant critical acclaim upon its initial release, boasting a "Strong" rating on OpenCritic (83/100 average score, 92% recommendation rate). Its relaxing atmosphere, inventive puzzles, and rewarding exploration have solidified its reputation as a top-tier puzzle game of 2024. Its arrival on PlayStation will undoubtedly enrich the platform's already impressive puzzle game library.

With the PlayStation release, Botany Manor will be available on all initially planned platforms. Balloon Studios has not yet announced their next project. January 28th will also see the PlayStation releases of Cuisineer, Eternal Strands, and The Sone of Madness.
