Starting today, Dell is offering an exceptional deal on the Alienware Aurora R16 gaming PC, now equipped with the cutting-edge GeForce RTX 5080 GPU, priced at just $2,399.99 with shipping included. This price point makes it one of the most competitive offers for an RTX 5080 prebuilt system on the market, especially when compared to other brands that have increased their prices following the RTX 50 series launch in January. At Dell, the next cheapest option for a prebuilt with an RTX 5080 GPU is over $4,000. If you're considering building your own PC, finding a standalone RTX 5080 GPU might cost you as much as this entire system.

This Alienware Aurora R16 gaming PC comes packed with an Intel Core Ultra 7 265F CPU, a GeForce RTX 5080 GPU, 16GB of DDR5-5200MHz RAM, and a 1TB NVMe SSD. The Intel Core Ultra 7 265F, part of the Meteor Lake series, features a max turbo frequency of 5.3GHz with 20 cores and a 30MB cache. It's cooled efficiently with a 240mm all-in-one liquid cooler, and the system is supported by a powerful 1,000W 80PLUS Platinum power supply.
The RTX 5080 is one of three new Blackwell graphics cards released, and they've been extremely hard to find. In our Nvidia GeForce RTX 5080 FE review, Jackie notes, "If you already have a high-end graphics card from the last couple of years, the Nvidia GeForce RTX 5080 might not be the upgrade you're looking for – its performance edge over the RTX 4080 is minimal, though DLSS 4 Multi-Frame Generation does enhance the visual experience in supported games. However, for gamers looking to upgrade from older GPUs, the RTX 5080 offers a significant performance boost, especially if you're keen on using Nvidia's AI enhancements."

New for 2025: The Alienware Area-51 Chassis
Dell showcased the new Alienware Area-51 gaming PC at CES 2025. The chassis design echoes the 2024 R16 model but includes subtle aesthetic and cooling enhancements along with updated components. The I/O panel is now located at the top of the case, and the tempered glass window covers the entire side panel, removing the need for side vents. Instead, air intakes are placed at the bottom and front of the case, promoting a positive airflow design for a cleaner interior. The internal components have been refreshed, featuring a new motherboard, faster RAM, and a more powerful power supply to support the latest CPUs and RTX 50 series GPUs.
RTX 5080 and 5090 GPUs Are Sold Out Everywhere
