This app features three two-player card games: Four Cards Golf, Six Cards Golf, and Scat, selectable via the in-app settings.
Four Cards Golf Rules:
The objective is to achieve the lowest score possible over nine rounds. Each round begins with each player receiving four face-down cards. Remaining cards form a draw pile, with one card placed face-up in a discard pile.
Players initially get a single, secret look at their two closest cards. They cannot view their cards again until discarding or scoring.
On a turn, a player draws from either the draw pile (replacing a hidden card without viewing it) or the discard pile (replacing a visible card). Cards can be discarded without replacement.
A player can "knock" to end their turn, preventing further knocking but allowing other players to continue drawing and discarding. The round ends after the knock.
Scoring:
- Pairs in a row or column: 0 points
- Jokers: -2 points
- Kings: 0 points
- Queens and Jacks: 10 points
- Other cards: face value
- Four of a kind: -6 points
Six Cards Golf Rules:
This two-player game also aims for the lowest score across nine rounds. Each player starts with six face-down cards, with a draw and discard pile established as in Four Cards Golf.
Players initially reveal two cards. Turns involve drawing a card from either pile; this card can replace a face-down card (keeping the replacement face-up) or be discarded. The round concludes when all cards are face-up.
Scoring:
- Pairs in a column: 0 points
- Jokers: -2 points
- Kings: 0 points
- Queens and Jacks: 20 points
- Other cards: face value
Gameplay involves tapping cards to swap with the discard pile or tapping the draw pile to draw and then either discard or swap. The game supports both AI opponents and local multiplayer.
