Words from Words and Contrary is a word puzzle game where you form new words using the letters of a given word. Build vocabulary, progress through levels, enhance your memory, and discover the meanings of new words you encounter.
This English-language game is free to play offline; an internet connection is only needed to access hints.

The goal is to find hidden words and complete all levels. This requires attention and patience, but with interesting stages and daily tasks, boredom is never an option.
RULES OF THE GAME
✅ Words from the Word.
You are given one long word. Your task is to find all the words hidden within it. Tap letters to form words. If a valid word is created and matches one of the targets, it will appear in your solved list. For example, from the word “ADVICE,” you can form words like ice, idea, dive, cave, and diva.
✅ The Contrary Game.
Several words made from the letters of one root word are shown. Your challenge is to deduce the original word. The target is always a singular noun. For example, from the words harp, heart, and carpet, you must guess they all come from "CHAPTER".
✅ Word of the Day.
A daily crossword-style puzzle where you uncover hidden words. Completing it rewards you with coins and reveals the level's keyword.
Earn coins by solving words and use them to unlock helpful hints.
The current version features 40 levels in the main game and 70 levels in the reverse game, with varying difficulty and word lengths. To finish the game, you must find over 1200 words. We regularly add new levels and challenges.
