Wuthering Waves Unlocks Pristine 5-Star Wonders

Wuthering Waves announces Phoebe and Brant as the next 5-star Rinascita characters for Version 2.1. Phoebe is speculated to be a Spectro unit, while Brant may wield a sword, based on their in-game appearances. Both will be pivotal in future updates, with additional characters, including Zani, also anticipated.

Version 2.0's success introduced Carlotta (a 5-star Glacio Pistol DPS) and Roccia (a Havoc unit), expanding gameplay and story. Their banners run concurrently until January 23rd. Anticipation for Version 2.1 is high, fueled by the reveal of Phoebe and Brant.

Developer Kuro Games' official announcements confirm Phoebe and Brant's 5-star status. Marketing suggests Phoebe's banner will launch in Phase 1 of Version 2.1, followed by Brant in Phase 2. While their weapon types and elements remain unconfirmed, their established lore hints at Phoebe's Spectro abilities and Brant's swordsmanship. Zani, previously teased, is the only remaining unannounced Rinascita character. Further character additions are rumored but await official confirmation.

Key Character Details:

  • Phoebe: 5-star, likely Spectro. A devout Acolyte of the Order of the Deep within Rinascita, she balances unwavering faith with a cheerful disposition.
  • Brant: 5-star, likely sword wielder. The charismatic captain of the Fool's Troupe (Roccia's troupe), he masks his protective nature behind a relaxed demeanor.

Both Phoebe and Brant are expected to play significant roles in subsequent Wuthering Waves updates. Version 2.0, ending around mid-February, also features a premium Jinhsi skin and a free Sanhua skin obtainable via an event starting January 23rd.
