Rinascita is brimming with mysteries and puzzles that can be quite challenging to solve, including the intriguing Morph Paintings. These paintings are central to two types of puzzles: Overflowing Palettes and straightforward restoration tasks. Morph Painting Restoration puzzles are not only simple but also rewarding, offering valuable resources like Astrites in Wuthering Waves. Let's dive into how these puzzles work, their locations, and the steps to solve them.
Restoring Morph Paintings in Wuthering Waves
Restoring Morph Paintings is a straightforward process. You simply need to locate the correct paintings and place them on the designated pedestals. Each pedestal comes with a description that guides you to the right portrait. Use your Levitator utility to position the painting correctly. The game typically switches to the Levitator automatically, but if it doesn't, you can manually equip it by pressing Tab or D-Pad Left.
Currently, there are two such paintings in the game, linked to the Shadow of the Towers: Resounding Rise and Trials of Old quests.
Shadow of the Towers: Resounding Rise Morph Painting Puzzle
As part of the Shadows of the Past questline in Wuthering Waves, you'll explore the three towers in Thorncrown - Thessaleo Falls. The Resounding Rise tower houses a Morph Painting puzzle. To solve it, use the large central painting as your reference point and follow these steps:
- Swap the paintings in the front-left and back-right positions.
- Move the painting behind the left pedestals to the back-left spot.
- Place the painting behind the chairs on the right into the front-right position.
Upon completing the puzzle, a chest will appear, allowing you to continue with the quest.
Trials of Old Morph Painting Puzzle
The Trials of Old quest requires you to complete four trials near Porto-Veno Castle in the eastern part of Thessaleo Fells. Within the Trial of Wisdom, you'll encounter another Morph Painting puzzle. The goal is to arrange the paintings on the pedestals to narrate a story from left to right. The solution is illustrated in the image above.
A handy tip: You'll know you've placed the correct Morph Painting on the right pedestal if the frame lights up upon insertion. Use this visual cue to easily solve the puzzle.
