Wuthering Waves has unveiled its highly anticipated Version 2.3 update, delivering content through four distinct phases. This massive update arrives just in time for the game's first anniversary celebration and marks its debut on Steam, finally bringing the experience to PC players worldwide.
Wuthering Waves Version 2.3 "Fiery Arpeggio of Summer" Goes Live
The update brings an exciting mix of fresh characters, engaging storylines, and limited-time events that should keep players busy through early summer. Available from April 29th through June 12th, 2025, this content drop offers something for everyone at Union Level 8 and above.
Players can explore two captivating new story arcs - "A Blaze in the Dark" and "Your Summer Will Never Wither." The update also introduces challenging new Phantom Echoes encounters, featuring revamped versions of Crownless along with the tricky Nimbus Wraith and deceptive Chest Mimic enemies.
Seasonal festivities kick off with the "Gifts of Grand Celebration" login campaign running May 23rd through June 11th. Daily logins reward players with valuable Radiant Tides and a Moment of Resonance to help bolster their collections.
Additional rewards come through the "Gifts of Grand Reunion" (April 29-June 11) and "Gifts of Melodic Verses" (June 5-19) campaigns. These successive login bonuses shower players with premium currencies including Radiant Tide, Lustrous Tide, and Astrite alongside valuable upgrade materials.
Returning Favorites and New Challenges
The fan-favorite Cubie Derby makes its triumphant return in two formats - as a relaxed leisure activity and an exciting spectator event where players can root for their preferred Cubes. This dice-rolling board game adventure offers chances to earn exclusive rewards like the Phantom: Chest Mimic and Flight Aspect: Laureate cosmetics.
The update's first gacha phase features returning Resonators Lumi, Taoqi, and Yuanwu alongside powerful weapons including Dauntless Evernight and Hollow Mirage, available through June 11th. Players can also participate in special events like the Solaris Film Festival throughout the update period.
