Wordsmiths Rejoice: Letterlike Debuts as Scrabble-Inspired Enigma

Wordsmiths, rejoice! A new roguelike word game, Letterlike, is here, blending the best of Balatro and Scrabble. Prepare for a unique combination of vocabulary mastery and roguelike unpredictability!

Crafting Words in Letterlike

Letterlike's roguelike nature ensures each playthrough offers a fresh challenge with procedurally generated letters and obstacles. The possibilities are endless, leading to countless victories.

Each game begins with a letter set. Your objective: create meaningful words, accumulate points, and conquer levels. Each level consists of three rounds.

To progress, you must earn sufficient points by forming high-scoring words, reminiscent of Scrabble. However, you only have five attempts (lives) per round – use them strategically!

Facing a less-than-ideal letter combination? Don't despair! You can discard letters, but this option is limited, so choose wisely.

A handy rearrange mode allows you to drag, drop, and shuffle letters to optimize your word creation.

The final round of each level introduces a twist: certain letters become useless, yielding zero points.

Earned points and rewards unlock various power-ups to enhance your gameplay. Some buffs are automatically applied, while others require reaching specific levels. Collected gems grant access to powerful upgrades, simplifying future runs.

Ready to Play?

Letterlike boasts a simple, minimalist design yet delivers engaging gameplay. Replay specific runs with friends using shared seeds – share those frustrating letter combinations and let your friends experience the same challenge!

The game is ad-free with a one-time purchase and offers offline play. A free demo version is available for those seeking a taste of the action. Find Letterlike on the Google Play Store and give the demo a try!
