⚫︎ Larian Studios, renowned for their work on Divinity: Original Sin, unveiled their latest project, Baldur’s Gate 3, at Google’s first Stadia Connect event. This eagerly awaited new entry continues BioWare’s iconic Baldur’s Gate series, which started in 1998 with the original game and was followed by the acclaimed Baldur’s Gate II: Shadows of Amn in 2000.

⚫︎ One year after its announcement, Baldur's Gate 3 officially launched in early access on Steam, GOG, and Google Stadia. The release followed several delays, including a previously targeted date of September 30 and an earlier mid-2020 projection from developer Larian Studios.

This early-access build of the game included only the first act, a customizable player character, and five playable origin characters, including Astarion, Gale, Lae’zel, Shadowheart, and Wyll.
