Unlocking the Fire Seal in Fields of Mistria: A Guide

Author : Amelia Apr 16,2025

With the latest March 10 update in *Fields of Mistria*, you can now access the Fire Seal after clearing the preceding altars. To unlock this seal, you must gather four specific items: a Faceted Rock Gem, Rockroot, Emerald, and a Sealing Scroll. Here's a comprehensive guide on how to acquire each of these items and successfully unlock the Fire Seal.

Where to Find Faceted Rock Gem in Fields of Mistria

The Faceted Rock Gem is an artifact you can find within the mines of *Fields of Mistria*. Ensure you're running the updated version of the game, and head into the mines until you reach Floors 50-59. We discovered the gem on Floor 56 after some digging. To locate this item, you'll need to dig in marked areas using your pickaxe or shovel. Keep in mind, the Faceted Rock Gem is quite rare, so you might need to spend a fair amount of time exploring these floors.

Where to Find Rockroot in Fields of Mistria

Rockroot is a common forageable item found in the mines between Floors 50-59. If you're an avid miner, there's a good chance you've already collected this item. Look for a dark, root-like plant, as shown in the image above. You'll need just one to complete the Priestess' altar.

Where to Find Emerald in Fields of Mistria

Emeralds are the easiest of the required items to find. You can discover Emerald geodes on Floors 50-59 in the mines. They are fairly common, so you should be able to collect what you need quickly, especially if you've been storing some. Besides mining, you can obtain Emeralds by breaking large boulders around Mistria or purchasing them at Balor's Wagon for just 200 tesserae. If you've unlocked the Stone Refinery with the March 2025 update, you can also craft them yourself, saving time on the search.

How to Get the Sealing Scroll in Fields of Mistria

The Sealing Scroll is the last item needed to unlock the Fire Seal, and it's linked to a quest that starts after you meet Juniper upon finding the seal. You'll need to enlist Balor's help to obtain the scroll, but this comes at a cost. To acquire the Sealing Scroll, you must gather:

  • x10 Silver Ingots
  • x10 Rubies
  • x10 Sapphires
  • x10 Emeralds

If you're short on any of these, you can find them in the mines. Once you have all the necessary items, deposit them in the bin by Balor's Wagon.

Unlocking the Fire Seal

With the Sealing Scroll, Faceted Rock Gem, Emerald, and Rockroot in your possession, return to Floor 60 of the mines to offer these items at the altar. This action will unlock the Fire Seal, revealing a new biome and additional content during Early Access.

NOTE: *Fields of Mistria* is currently in Early Access, and the content is subject to change. The information provided here is accurate as of Version 0.13.0 and will be updated as necessary if anything changes.

*Fields of Mistria* is available to play now in Steam Early Access.
