Following its initial teaser last week, the newest Torchlight: Infinite update has arrived, introducing the Sandlord season to the ARPG. This season introduces fresh mechanics, inviting you to construct and develop your empire within the Cloud Oasis to optimize your loot potential.
Defeat enemies in the Netherrealm to acquire valuable resources. Use these materials to unlock bonuses, establish trade routes, and secure economic advantages tied to five distinct professions.
The corrupted divine channeler, Thea, also enters the battle, bringing her powerful Desecration skill—an excellent choice for players who favor damage-over-time combat strategies. She serves as yet another reminder that sometimes embracing the dark side comes with significant perks (after all, they say the Dark Side has its rewards).
Meanwhile, the Deep Space region has undergone a comprehensive overhaul to enhance gameplay. A new reward modifier called Probes can increase your gains, but be warned: monsters are now stronger, more aggressive, and present greater risks. You'll need to keep your tactical skills honed to survive each expedition.
These updates include new Legendary Stages and the Sea of Rites, where you can defeat non-aggressive Goblins to potentially summon a hidden boss. Additionally, the Sands of Fortune event is running until May 1st, offering new challenges and a chance to win a share of a $250,000 cash prize pool.
