Supercell

Supercell, the studio behind hits like Clash of Clans and Brawl Stars, has unveiled a sneak peek at their newest creation: Boat Game. Currently recruiting for its first alpha test, this intriguing title promises a unique gameplay experience.

The announcement arrived subtly, with a teaser trailer shared by Supercell community manager Frame on X (formerly Twitter) and now available on YouTube.

Interested in joining the alpha test? Sign up here. However, be aware that participation is limited, and Supercell is seeking a diverse group of testers.

What Kind of Game is Boat Game?

The trailer hints at a captivating blend of third-person shooting and boat combat. Imagine navigating treacherous waters, evading cannon fire, and engaging in intense pirate-themed battles on islands. There are also enigmatic, surreal elements that suggest a potential battle royale component. Watch the trailer below and decide for yourself:

Rumors of a Supercell third-person shooter project codenamed "boatgame" circulated last year, and this may well be the culmination of that effort. However, it's important to remember Supercell's history of both launching and quickly shelving titles that don't meet their high standards.

Despite this, the unique blend of land and sea combat in Boat Game makes it a project worth watching. Visit the official website for further updates.
