Sonic Rumble Embarks on Pre-Launch Trials

Remember Sonic Rumble? The upcoming Sonic game where Sonic and friends swap high-speed chases for chaotic Fall Guys-style party mayhem? Following its May closed beta test, Sonic Rumble is gearing up for a phased pre-launch rollout.

Sonic Rumble's Phased Pre-Launch

SEGA has launched Sonic Rumble's pre-launch phase 1 in the Philippines on Android and iOS. This initial phase will continue throughout the summer, after which all gameplay data will be reset. Phase 2 will expand the pre-launch to Peru and Colombia in the fall. Further regions will be added in phase 3, with details to be announced later. Global pre-registration is planned for late 2023 or early 2024. The timing suggests a strategic move to capitalize on the recent popularity of Fall Guys.

Gameplay Overview

Sonic Rumble offers a collection of mini-games featuring zany obstacles and challenges, playable solo or with friends. However, unlike the straightforward races of Fall Guys, Sonic Rumble incorporates classic Sonic villains like Dr. Eggman into the mix, adding a unique twist to the formula. Expect the usual obstacle-dodging, but with the added thrill of facing off against familiar foes. Philippine players can download Sonic Rumble now from the Google Play Store.
