The Nvidia GeForce RTX 5060 Ti graphics card debuted on April 16 as the most budget-friendly Blackwell GPU available. However, it was another "paper" launch, with retail units scarce and often sold at a premium. The good news is that if you're looking for a prebuilt gaming PC featuring this new GPU, your options are much more promising. Not only are there numerous prebuilt gaming PCs available, but they are also reasonably priced. The most affordable options we've found are from Skytech, available on Amazon, starting at just $1,249.99. This is an excellent price point for a current-generation gaming rig capable of handling 1080p and 1440p resolutions.

The RTX 5060 Ti is the successor to the RTX 4060 Ti, delivering a performance boost of around 15-20% in games. This improvement is more significant than the leap from the RTX 4070 to the RTX 5070. From a value standpoint, the RTX 5060 Ti is the best Blackwell card for 1080p gaming, and it can also manage 1440p gaming, particularly when using DLSS 4. Although the RTX 5070 offers greater power, prebuilt systems with it start at $1,700 to $1,800, making the price difference hard to justify for gamers aiming for 1440p or below.

GeForce RTX 5060 Ti Review by James Archer (Rock Paper Shotgun)

"The RTX 5060 Ti upholds the tradition of the XX60 Ti series by providing smooth, yet budget-friendly performance at 1440p. Compared to the more expensive RTX 5070, it offers a significant improvement in native-resolution, pre-DLSS frame rates over the previous 40 series. Therefore, we can consider the RTX 5060 Ti as one of the standout RTX 50 series cards and the go-to choice for budget-conscious gamers aiming for at least 1440p gaming."
