Season 5 of Monster Hunter Now: The Blossoming Blade Arrives Soon!

Monster Hunter Now is gearing up for an exciting launch of Season 5: The Blossoming Blade, and Niantic has shared all the juicy details. Mark your calendars for March 6th, 2025, as this season promises new challenges, weapons, a Season Pass, and a roster of fearsome monsters.

Getting Ready for Monster Hunter Now Season 5

Before the official kickoff, get ready for a special treat with the arrival of Chatacabra on February 28th. This marks its grand debut ahead of its first-ever appearance in Monster Hunter Wilds. When Season 5 officially launches, you'll also encounter Glavenus and Arzuros joining the fray.

Weapon balance is getting a significant overhaul to ensure every weapon type is more viable and fun to use. The Sword & Shield is receiving a buff that makes targeting breakable parts like tails easier. The Perfect Rush Combo (SP) will now reward well-timed taps with enhanced performance, leading to more satisfying combos.

The Guard skill is also getting a much-needed boost. Previously, leveling up Guard had minimal impact, but now, higher skill levels will significantly reduce damage taken when blocking. More tweaks are on the horizon, and you can find out all the details in the full patch notes released on March 6th.

And There Is More!

If you've ever struggled with an overflowing inventory, Monster Hunter Now Season 5 has good news for you. An Item Box Expansion will be available as a Supply Item, granting you an additional 250 slots to manage your gear.

As part of Monster Hunter Now's 1.5-Year Anniversary celebration on March 17th, a new feature will be introduced. This feature allows you to trade special materials earned from hunts and events for fantastic rewards. Look forward to acquiring Item Box Expansions, Weapon Refining Parts, Armor Refining Parts, and Wyvern Gem Shards.

So, gear up for the new season by downloading the game from the Google Play Store. And don't forget to check out our next news piece on Honkai Impact 3rd's v8.1 Update 'Drumming in New Resolutions.'
