The first season of The Last of Us was a monumental success for HBO, created by the talented duo of Craig Mazin, known for Chernobyl, and Neil Druckmann, head of Naughty Dog. The series garnered numerous Primetime Creative Arts Emmy Awards and received nominations for five Primetime Emmys, including categories like Outstanding Drama Series, Lead Actor, Lead Actress, Outstanding Director, and Outstanding Writing.
