Vampire Survivors has just released its latest free DLC, the highly anticipated Emerald Diorama. This expansion not only brings a fresh wave of excitement to the game but also marks its largest update yet. Drawing inspiration from Square Enix’s iconic JRPG series SaGa, the DLC introduces a unique crossover experience that fans of both franchises will adore.
Introducing the Emerald Diorama: A New World of Possibilities
The Emerald Diorama DLC transforms the gameplay experience by introducing a brand-new stage that feels like a miniature world map, complete with world-hopping mechanics. Players will encounter over a dozen new characters, each with their own quirks—some wield the power of puppetry, while others serenade foes with cursed melodies.
The DLC boasts an impressive array of features, including 16+ new weapons, a dynamic Glimmer system allowing players to randomly acquire new skills during runs, and nine fresh music tracks to enhance the atmosphere. To unlock the Emerald Diorama, adventurers must head to Moongolow and speak to a newly introduced merchant. Purchase the Emerald Disk for 50,000 gold, and then gradually unlock the content piece by piece.
Party Dynamics and Mini-Campaigns
One of the standout additions in the Emerald Diorama is the introduction of character parties, enabling players to form their own squads. Additionally, the DLC comes equipped with two new Adventures—mini-campaigns featuring six chapters each. “To End an Ice Age” focuses on the base game, while “Tides of the Foscari” expands on the new DLC content.
The Coop Update: A Fresh Take on Farming Fun
In tandem with the Emerald Diorama, Vampire Survivors has received another free update titled “The Coop.” As the name suggests, this update revolves around chickens, adding a quirky yet engaging twist to the gameplay. Introducing a new chicken character named Gazebo, along with a unique weapon and relic that accelerates the game, The Coop adds layers of depth and strategy.
Players can earn achievements by collecting 500 lifetime floor chickens, which unlocks the full potential of The Coop. A helpful tip: refrain from killing anything for the first minute of gameplay to activate the Gaze of Gaea. Evolving it further with Parm Aegis unlocks Gazebo, adding another layer of charm to the experience.
Cross-Platform Progression and More
With the launch of the Emerald Diorama and The Coop update, Vampire Survivors now supports cross-platform progression.
