PS5 DualSense Edge's Deal Price Endures

Author : Eleanor Jan 15,2026

The official PlayStation Days of Play Sale concluded on Wednesday, June 11th, but one fantastic deal is still hanging around a bit longer. Amazon is currently offering the PlayStation 5 DualSense Edge Controller for just $169, thanks to an instant $30 discount. While the standard DualSense controller is frequently on sale, the premium Edge model is rarely discounted. This professional-grade controller for the PS5 is Sony's answer to the Xbox Elite Series controller.

The DualSense Edge is Sony's high-end, pro-level controller for the PS5. Similar to the Xbox Elite Series 2, it boasts features like textured grips, replaceable analog stick caps, customizable back buttons, and savable control profiles. You can swap the standard thumbstick tops for convex options in two different heights. For the back buttons, you can choose between levers (like the Xbox Elite) or smaller nubs. The trigger system is a key highlight: next to each trigger is a slider that lets you adjust the travel distance to short, medium, or standard settings, perfect for faster response in competitive games.

All these components come packaged in a sturdy hard-shell carrying case that also allows for charging while the controller is stored inside. The package includes a 9-foot USB-C charging cable. A significant advantage over the standard DualSense is repairability; for instance, you can purchase replacement analog stick modules separately for $19.99 each.

PS5 DualSense Edge Review by Matthew Adler

"Priced at nearly three times the cost of a standard DualSense, the $200 DualSense Edge is a significant investment for casual players. However, it packs an impressive amount of advanced technology into a familiar form factor. The Function buttons work seamlessly for creating, adjusting, and switching between custom profiles, supported by an intuitive interface. The swappable back buttons are comfortable and feel like a natural part of the controller. The easily replaceable stick modules also future-proof it against joystick drift. My main critique is the lack of a major battery life improvement—a perennial issue with PlayStation controllers—but overall, this is an exceptional debut for Sony's first pro-grade controller."
