This official Pokémon encyclopedia will delve deep into the ecology of these beloved creatures, offering a comprehensive analysis from various scientific perspectives. Pokécology will explore the diet, sleep patterns, physical characteristics, and interactions of Pokémon with their environment and other species.

The book is a collaborative effort by distinguished experts, including veterinary behaviorists and ecology doctors from the University of Tokyo. Ecologist Yoshinari Yonehara, the book's lead author, spearheaded the research on wild Pokémon analysis. Complementing the text, renowned illustrator Chihiro Kino, known for her work on animal ecology books, will provide stunning full-color illustrations of Pokémon.

Pokémon has previously released numerous hardcover books detailing Pokémon stats, battle techniques, stories, and game guides. However, Pokécology marks a pioneering venture into the biology and ecology of these iconic creatures, offering an educational resource that's perfect for fans, especially children, to deepen their understanding of Pokémon.
