It's time for another intriguing Rian Johnson murder mystery, and no, we're not talking about a new Knives Out film just yet. Instead, we're diving into Poker Face, the captivating comedy-drama series featuring Natasha Lyonne. Originally hitting the streaming scene in 2022, this show quickly established itself with its unique "mystery of the week" format, featuring fresh guest stars each episode. The series follows Lyonne's character, Charlie Cale, a casino worker with an extraordinary talent for detecting lies, which she uses to unravel various crimes while on the run.

Fast forward to more than two years later, and Poker Face is back on Peacock for its much-anticipated second season. In her review of the first 10 episodes, critic Samantha Nelson remarked, "Driven by a magnetic performance from Natasha Lyonne, clever writing, and a laundry list of comedic guest stars, Season 2 of the howcatchem isn’t prestige TV, but it should definitely be on your watch list."
