"Pokemon TCG Pocket Unveils Shining Revelry, Hints at Ranked Matches"

Author : Aaliyah May 07,2025

The latest expansion for Pokémon TCG Pocket, Shining Revelry, has introduced an exciting array of over 110 new cards, including dazzling shiny variants. The addition of cards from the Paldea region has certainly spiced things up, making fans eager to dive in and see what treasures they can unearth. Personally, I couldn't resist using my Pack Hourglasses to open ten packs right after the update went live. While my haul wasn't massive, pulling a Charizard EX was a highlight, even if it was the only standout. Additionally, snagging a Pokémon Center Lady card was a pleasant surprise—her ability to heal Special Conditions will be a valuable asset against tough opponents dealing out Burns and other status effects.

Following the trend of previous expansions, Shining Revelry also introduces an Emblem event. This time around, the new Ranked Matches add a competitive edge, allowing you to battle other Trainers and climb from Beginner to Master Ball Rank. Points earned in these matches will be displayed, and at the end of the approximately one-month season, you'll be awarded a prestigious emblem. It's time for me to dust off my dueling skills and start crafting some serious decks.

If you're keen to get in on the action, you can download Pokémon TCG Pocket for free on the App Store and Google Play, with optional in-app purchases available.
