Pokémon Go kicks off May with a new Reward Road and Power Up Ticket

Author : Matthew May 06,2025

The Might and Mastery season of Pokémon Go continues to captivate players as May brings exciting new opportunities to enhance your gameplay. Two popular features, the Reward Road and the Power Up Ticket, have returned to help you stock up on resources and gain a competitive edge. Let's dive into what May has in store for you!

Starting with the Reward Road, this feature is back with a fresh monthly lineup that runs until May 31st. By making eligible purchases either in-game or through the Pokémon Go Web Store, you can earn Reward Points. Notably, purchases made via the web store will earn you double the points, making it an excellent strategy to maximize your rewards. As you accumulate points and level up, you'll unlock valuable rewards such as Premium Battle Passes, Incubators, Lure Modules, and other essential battle-ready items. Reaching Level 10 on the Reward Road will net you a substantial haul including six Premium Battle Passes, six Incubators, and a collection of Stickers. Remember to claim your rewards before the end of the month, as everything resets after that.

Complementing the Reward Road, the Power Up Ticket: May offers a one-time boost for just $4.99, available until May 11th. This ticket's benefits kick in from May 4th and last until June 4th, providing a range of bonuses including an extra Candy XL for Trainers level 31 and up after every Raid or Max Battle, triple XP for your first daily catch and spin, and expanded limits for gift interactions. Additionally, the ticket comes with exclusive Timed Research that offers extras such as eight Premium Battle Passes, Max Particle Packs, TMs, Lucky Eggs, and more. For those looking to get the most bang for their buck, the Power Up Ticket Ultra Box on the Pokémon Go Web Store includes all these rewards plus an additional 50 PokéCoins at the same price.
