Plunder Panic 3.0 Launches on Mobile, Adds Cross-Play

Plunder Panic has launched worldwide on mobile devices. This release coincides with Version 3.0, dubbed the Pocket Pirates Update, which went live today. Will Winn Games has brought its team-based pirate brawler to Android and iOS platforms, including both smartphones and tablets.

Set Sail for Swashbuckling Ship-to-Ship Combat!

Now you can take the pirate skirmishes on the go for the very first time. The mobile version of Plunder Panic offers a choice between touchscreen controls and support for wireless gamepads. It also features local multiplayer, allowing several players to join the fray on a single device—a fantastic addition for a free-to-play game.

Version 3.0 enables cross-platform play between Android, iOS, Windows PC, MacOS, and Steam Deck. Once this update arrives on consoles, cross-platform functionality will be complete across all supported platforms.

While free to start, players can unlock the full premium experience with a one-time $3.99 upgrade. This purchase grants access to all content. You can download Plunder Panic on the Google Play Store now.

Plunder Panic is a chaotic 2D platformer where your pirate crew battles a rival team. With up to six players on your side, victory depends entirely on your chosen tactics.

Matches support up to 12 players, whether you play locally, online, or fill out your crew with AI teammates.

The mobile edition includes a 54-level campaign mode, gradually unlocking new game modes and modifiers as you progress.

Featuring retro SNES-style pixel art and classic arcade energy, matches are short, frantic, and wildly unpredictable—that's where the fun lies. It's definitely worth a try if you're curious.
