Indie developer Theo Clarke's new game, Plantoons, lets you turn your garden into a thrilling battle zone. Similar in spirit to Plants vs. Zombies, it offers a unique and quirky gameplay experience.
The Plantoons Gameplay
In Plantoons, your garden becomes a gladiator arena where plants fight waves of invading weeds. Forget passive plant placement; you'll level up and upgrade your plant warriors as you defend against increasingly fierce weed attacks – hopefully less ferocious than those infamous zombies!
You begin by choosing a plant from your arsenal and strategically placing it on the battlefield. The goal? Repel the relentless weed onslaught. As you progress, you'll earn reward cards that enhance your plant army's attack, defense, or pollen production. Arrange your plants to create the ultimate defensive line.
Each plant boasts unique abilities and stats. Completing challenges expands your Card Bank, allowing for customized deck building and strategic improvements.
