Northgard on Android Launches Early Access

For fans of Norse mythology and tactical combat, exciting news has arrived! Frima Studio's latest entry in the Northgard universe, Northgard: Battleborn, is now available in early access on Android for US and Canadian players. This isn't a simple re-release; Battleborn introduces innovative gameplay mechanics while retaining the series' distinctive Norse aesthetic.

Gameplay Overview:

A core feature of Northgard: Battleborn is its engaging 3v3 tactical battles. Strategic selection of your Warchief—a powerful Viking warrior with unique abilities—is paramount to victory. Your Warchief's skills significantly influence your battle strategy, adding a compelling layer of depth.

The early access version also incorporates a deck-building system. Customize your deck with cards granting spells, buffs, and summonable allies. Careful deck management, tailored to your chosen Warchief, is crucial for success. Prepare for challenging raids against mythical Norse creatures; clever tactics and strategic card play are essential for triumph.

Northgard: Battleborn is currently available via the Google Play Store for early access in the US and Canada. This early access period enables the developers to gather player feedback and address potential issues such as bugs, voice-over problems, and optimization before the full release. The final game may be significantly shaped by player feedback during this phase. A global launch date has yet to be announced.
