NetEase has officially announced the end of service (EOS) for their horror action game, Dead by Daylight Mobile. Yes, it's time to say goodbye as the game heads to the grave! Puns aside, after four years since its worldwide release on Android in April 2020, the game is shutting down. If you're new to the scene, Dead by Daylight Mobile is a thrilling 4v1 horror-survival game, a mobile adaptation of Behaviour Interactive's hit, originally launched on PC in June 2016. While the mobile version is closing, the PC and console versions will keep running smoothly.
In Dead by Daylight Mobile, you can choose to play as either a Killer or a Survivor in a deadly game of hide and seek. As a Killer, your goal is to sacrifice Survivors to The Entity. As a Survivor, your mission is to stay safe and avoid being caught by the Killer.
When is the Dead by Daylight Mobile EOS?
The end of service for Dead by Daylight Mobile is scheduled for March 20th, 2025. Until January 16th, 2025, the game will remain available for download on app stores. After this date, new downloads will no longer be possible.
If you already have the game installed, you can continue playing until the final shutdown on March 20th, 2025. Regarding refunds, NetEase will handle them in accordance with each region's laws. More detailed information on the refund process will be released on January 16th, 2025.
For those who wish to keep playing, you can switch to the PC or console version of Dead by Daylight. There's a Welcome Package waiting for you if you make the transition. If you've spent money or earned XP in the mobile version, you'll receive loyalty rewards upon switching.
