Monument Valley 3 Documentary Explores Creation

Ustwo Games has released a short documentary, "Building the Impossible: The Making of Monument Valley 3." The game arrived last week on PC and consoles, and this new video offers an inside view of the creative journey behind the latest puzzle‑adventure installment.

"The Making of Monument Valley 3" is now available on Ustwo Games’ official YouTube channel. It illustrates how the London‑based studio crafted Noor's new expedition across impossible geometry and tranquil oceans.

The documentary guides viewers through sketch‑filled workspaces and melodic recording sessions. It highlights the progression in art direction over the trilogy, alongside the experimental gameplay innovations introduced in this sequel.

You can also observe the teamwork behind the award‑nominated soundtrack. Developers, artists, and the composer share honest thoughts on shaping the visual magic and soundscapes.

Is the game available on Android?

Monument Valley 3 first launched on mobile through Netflix Games in December 2024. But you may recall when Netflix revealed it was removing more than 20% of its mobile game catalog—unfortunately, all Monument Valley titles were included.

It's possible the developers intend to release a standalone mobile version, although nothing has been officially confirmed. While waiting for an Android release, you can play the first two chapters via the Google Play Store, with no Netflix subscription required.
