In *Monster Hunter Wilds*, there's a wide array of activities to dive into, and not all of them involve taking down colossal beasts. If you're on a quest to earn the A Prize Held High trophy or achievement, here's your comprehensive guide on how to do it.
How To Unlock the A Prize Held High Trophy/Achievement in Monster Hunter Wilds
Contrary to what you might assume from the trophy's description, it's not about dragons or wyverns. Your target is the elusive Curioshell Crab, which you can capture using the Capture Net.
Finding the best spots for this creature can be challenging since it's spread out across various maps. Our most reliable method involves heading to the Scarlet Forest. Start at the base camp and navigate to Area 6: Flowering Rocks pop-up camp. If you haven't discovered this spot yet, it's nestled between Areas 2 and 6.

Once you're there, focus your attention on the nearby puddle of water, a prime spawning ground for the Curioshell Crab. If you're having trouble spotting it, Alma can help. She'll mention if a creature nearby is holding something, signaling the presence of a Curioshell Crab.
Equip your Capture Net, align your reticle until it turns orange, and then shoot to capture the crab. A successful capture will net you both a Curioshell Crab and an Ancient Wyvern Coin.
Keep in mind that the Curioshell Crab is quite agile. You'll need to anticipate its movements and aim ahead to ensure a successful capture. Besides the Scarlet Forest, you might also find it in Area 13 of the Windward Plains or Area 8 of the Scarlet Forest. While it can spawn in other areas as well, these are the spots we've found most fruitful in our tests.
That's all you need to know about securing the A Prize Held High trophy or achievement in *Monster Hunter Wilds*. For more tips and guides, be sure to check out The Escapist.
