Monster Hunter Now Season 7 Launches Soon with Advent of the Exploration Base

Niantic is rolling out its next major update for Monster Hunter Now: Season 7, titled Advent of the Exploration Base. Scheduled to launch on September 18th, 2025, this season marks the official autumn event. Players can expect new monsters, the full release of exploration bases, enhanced style customization options, and fresh armor skills.

The monster roster is expanding

Espinas, Garangolm, and Lunagaron will be available to hunt from day one of the season. On September 22nd, Riftborne Deviljho will make its debut as a new riftborne variant, with its weapons becoming eligible for style customization.

Regarding customization, the features introduced in Season 6 are receiving a significant overhaul. Each level-up now provides greater stat increases, allowing customized weapons to match the power of top-tier equipment.

Previously beta-tested exploration bases will go live for all players during Monster Hunter Now Season 7. Linked to local landmarks, these bases strengthen through cooperative play and operate similarly to Pokéstops in Pokémon Go.

New armor sets for Espinas, Garangolm, and Lunagaron introduce six unique skills. Pursuit boosts damage when breaking a monster part for the first time, while Ballistics expands the critical hit range for ammo and arrows.

Reckless increases overall damage but removes perfect evasion capabilities, whereas Guard Up allows players to block previously unblockable attacks. Finally, Vital Fire and Vital Ice enhance elemental values based on remaining health.

Another key feature is selectable monster groups

Players can now choose which specific monster groups spawn in their area. Additionally, weapon progression has been streamlined; starting from Season 7, forging and upgrading most weapons will require fewer materials in Monster Hunter Now.

This season offers plenty of new content. Download the game from the Google Play Store to experience the updates as soon as they drop.
