Character customization is a key element in any successful RPG, and Monster Hunter Wilds delivers in spades. If you're wondering how to tweak your hunter's look, we've got you covered.
Changing Appearance in Monster Hunter Wilds (Hunter and Palico)

Monster Hunter Wilds boasts a detailed character creator, letting you craft a hunter that closely resembles yourself (or your wildest fantasy!). But what if you want to make adjustments later? No problem! Once you've unlocked the base camp, simply enter your tent and navigate to the Appearance Menu (using L1 or R1). Select "Change Appearance" to revisit the creator and fine-tune your hunter's and palico's look.
How to Change Outfits and Use Layered Armor

The Layered Armor feature is available from the game's outset. Again, head to your tent, access the Appearance Menu, and choose "Equipment Appearance." This lets you customize your hunter's outfit with unlocked Layered Armor pieces. Keep in mind, you're limited to the Layered Armor you've acquired; you can't directly transmog your equipped armor with other armor sets you've crafted. The same "Equipment Appearance" option allows you to customize your Palico's layered armor as well.
If Layered Armor doesn't quite satisfy your fashion sense, your only other option is to forge and equip new armor sets. Remember, each piece of equipment has different stats, so balance style with functionality!
Seikret Customization
The Appearance Menu also includes Seikret Customization. Here, you can adjust your Seikret's skin and feather colors, patterns, decorations, and even eye color, allowing for a truly personalized companion.
