Prepare to embark on an enchanting journey with the cozy adventure game, Mika and the Witch's Mountain, set to enchant players on Nintendo Switch, PC via Steam, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S starting January 22, 2025. Having initially launched in early access on August 21, 2024, the game has already won over fans with its heartwarming gameplay. Now, the full version promises even more delightful content and exciting post-launch additions.

Drawing inspiration from the beloved Studio Ghibli film, Kiki's Delivery Service, Mika and the Witch's Mountain invites players into the shoes of young witch Mika, who takes on the role of a parcel courier in a quaint town nestled at the foot of a magical mountain. The game's early access phase has been a hit among fans of cozy adventure games, and soon, console players will be able to immerse themselves in Mika's enchanting world.

As reported by Gematsu, the development studios Chibig and Nukefist have announced that Mika and the Witch's Mountain will exit early access and grace consoles on January 22. This colorful game offers a delightful mix of broomstick flying in a mini open world, item collection, and a touching story filled with endearing characters. Recent updates to the early access version have introduced much-anticipated features such as a fishing mini-game, Churro and Kitten mini-games, pet companions, enhanced language support, fashionable cosmetics, and new achievements. All these enhancements will be part of the full release, with the developers promising a post-launch update named "Into the Mont Gaun," which will introduce dungeon gameplay reminiscent of The Legend of Zelda series.

When does Mika and the Witch's Mountain Release on Console?

- January 22

Chibig and Nukefist have declared that "Into the Mont Gaun" will be the concluding content update for Mika and the Witch's Mountain, aiming to fulfill the complete vision they set out with during the game's Kickstarter campaign in 2023. With a "Very Positive" review rating on Steam during its early access phase, the game has already garnered significant acclaim. For fans of games like Stardew Valley and Animal Crossing: New Horizons, Mika and the Witch's Mountain could be a delightful addition to your gaming library upon its full release on January 22.
