What surprises might Microsoft have in store? The company has numerous projects underway, including the delayed Fable reboot (now targeting 2026), Perfect Dark's revival, Clockwork Revolution from inXile, Ninja Gaiden 4, Just Cause developers' Contraband, Rare's Everwild (recently visited by Phil Spencer), Gears of War: E-Day from The Coalition, Hideo Kojima's OD, State of Decay 3 from Undead Labs, plus new titles in development at Psychonauts creator Double Fine.
From Activision Blizzard, expect a new Call of Duty this year alongside Blizzard releases. Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 + 4's July launch could also feature.
Bethesda might finally reveal Starfield's future plans, possibly including PlayStation 5 details or updates on The Elder Scrolls 6.
While next-gen Xbox hardware announcements may be premature (with rumored 2027 releases), Microsoft could discuss third-party Xbox-branded handheld devices.

Obsidian Entertainment, fresh from Avowed's release, will showcase new gameplay, developer insights, and likely confirm a 2025 launch date for this sequel to their award-winning sci-fi RPG.
