Starting the Quest
To initiate the Master Schindel’s Toys quest, you need to be on the Into the Underworld main mission. Your objective is to find an informant named Goatskin. Begin by visiting the bathhouse and speaking with the Bathhouse Madam, followed by a conversation with Adam. Adam will inform you that Goatskin is responsible for stealing items from Master Schindel.

Finding Goatskin
Goatskin is elusive, so you'll need to strategize to locate him. You can either talk to Lousy Mary or track Udo. I suggest speaking with Udo, who visits the bathhouse in the evening on the first floor. Instruct him to go home and discreetly follow him. Goatskin will attempt to rob Udo in an alley, providing you with an opportunity to confront him.
Obtaining the Map
During your interaction with Goatskin, you may try to acquire the Kuttenberg Underground Map. If you fail the skill check, you'll need to bribe him. Goatskin will direct you to a body at the Kuttenberg gallows on the city's southeastern side. Retrieve the map from the hanging corpse to navigate the underground area.

Locating the Stolen Items
To retrieve the stolen items, enter the Kuttenberg Underground from the northern side of the open area via a ladder. Ensure you have a torch as it's pitch black down there. Navigate the tunnels by consistently turning left until you reach a barrel at a dead end. You'll need to jump down to a lower level at some point. Continue left at each junction until you discover Goatskin’s hidden stash. Inside the barrel, you'll find a book and an astrolabe.

Completing the Quest
Return to the surface using the same route. Find Master Schindel, typically located on the northeastern side of the city during the day. Hand over the stolen items to him. He may initially seem irritable, but returning his possessions will change his demeanor. Engage further with him to learn about the astrolabe and the planets.
