Marvel Rivals Showcases Sanctum Sanctorum Map Coming in Season 1

Marvel Rivals Unveils Season 1's Sanctum Sanctorum Map: A Battleground of Opulence and the Bizarre

Marvel Rivals' Season 1: Eternal Night Falls, launching January 10th at 1 AM PST, introduces a thrilling new map: the Sanctum Sanctorum. This iconic location will host the game's new Doom Match mode, a chaotic free-for-all for 8-12 players where the top 50% emerge victorious. The season also features Dracula as the primary antagonist, with the Fantastic Four leading the charge against his forces.

Beyond the Sanctum Sanctorum, Season 1 expands Marvel Rivals with Midtown (setting for a new convoy mission) and the mysterious Central Park map (arriving mid-season).

A recent video showcased the Sanctum Sanctorum's unique design, blending lavish decor with unsettling elements. Floating cookware, a refrigerator-dwelling squid-like creature, winding staircases, and magical artifacts create a visually striking environment. Even a portrait of Wong and Doctor Strange's ghostly canine companion, Bats, add to the map's charm. The map's detail is a testament to the developers' dedication.

The arrival of the Fantastic Four further enhances Season 1. Mister Fantastic and Invisible Woman debut alongside the season's launch, with Human Torch and The Thing joining the fray in a mid-season update. With Dracula's sinister plot threatening Doctor Strange, the Fantastic Four must defend New York City. The future of Marvel Rivals looks brighter than ever.
