Marvel Rivals Announces Balancing Changes in Season 1

Marvel Rivals Season 1: Dracula, Fantastic Four, and Major Balance Changes

Marvel Rivals' Season 1, "Eternal Night Falls," launching January 10th at 1 AM PST, promises a wealth of new content and significant balance adjustments. The season introduces Dracula as the primary antagonist and welcomes the Fantastic Four to the hero roster. Mister Fantastic and the Invisible Woman arrive on day one, with Human Torch and The Thing joining the fray six to seven weeks later.

The Season 1 battle pass, priced at 990 Lattice (approximately $10), offers 10 skins and rewards players with 600 Lattice and 600 Units upon completion. Three new maps and a fresh game mode, "Doom Match," further enhance the gameplay experience.

A recent developer update highlighted substantial balance changes. Hela and Hawkeye, deemed overpowered in Season 0, will receive nerfs. Conversely, mobility-focused Vanguards like Captain America and Venom will receive buffs to improve their effectiveness.

Further balance adjustments include enhancements for Wolverine and Storm, encouraging more strategic utilization of these mutants. Cloak and Dagger also receive boosts to improve their team compatibility. Jeff the Land Shark's early warning system will be tweaked to better reflect his ultimate's hitbox, though no major alterations to his ultimate ability are planned at this time.

While NetEase Games remained silent on changes to the Seasonal Bonus feature, it's anticipated that some heroes will see their bonuses adjusted. Season 1 appears poised to deliver a significant update to Marvel Rivals, generating considerable player anticipation.
