NetherRealm Studios has thrilled fans with the announcement of a new Kameo fighter for *Mortal Kombat 1* (MK1) — Madame Bo. The latest trailer gives us a glimpse into her unique combat techniques, showcasing her use of bottles as weapons, her ability to blind opponents, and her spectacular Fatality that aligns perfectly with her tea-house aesthetic. The visuals are not only impressive but leave a lasting impact on viewers.
In the MK1 storyline, Madame Bo owns a tea house and plays the role of a mentor to Kung Lao and Raiden. She is the second new character announced for the upcoming DLC pack, following the reveal of T-1000, who, unlike Madame Bo, is a fully playable fighter.
There's an intriguing fan theory circulating that suggests Madame Bo in the new timeline might actually be Bo' Rai Cho. This theory is supported not only by her name but also by her fighting techniques, her use of alcohol, and her smoking habit. Given that in the new game's storyline, Liu Kang has reshaped the identities of other characters from the previous timeline, this theory could very well hold true.
Madame Bo will be available starting March 18 for owners of the Kombat Pack 2 and Khaos Reigns. All other players will be able to access her from March 25.
