This guide details Atakhan, the new neutral objective in League of Legends, introduced as part of the Noxus Invasion for Season 1 of 2025. Atakhan's unique feature is his dual forms and dynamic spawn location, adding a strategic layer to gameplay.
Atakhan's Spawn: Time and Location
- Spawn Time: Always spawns at the 20-minute mark (Baron Nashor's spawn is shifted to 25 minutes).
- Pit Location: Spawns at the 14-minute mark in the river. The specific side (Top or Bot lane) depends on the game's early aggression; more kills and damage favor a Bot lane spawn. The pit features permanent walls, impacting combat.
Atakhan's Forms and Buffs
Atakhan's form (Voracious or Ruinous) is determined by early-game activity.
Voracious Atakhan: Spawns in less aggressive games.
- Buff: +40 gold per champion takedown (kills and assists) for the entire game.
- Death Mitigation: A one-time effect lasting 150 seconds. Instead of dying, affected champions enter stasis (2 seconds) before returning to base (3.5 seconds). The enemy receives 100 gold and 1 Blood Petal.
Ruinous Atakhan: Spawns in highly aggressive games.
- Buff: 25% increased rewards from all Epic Monsters (including retroactively).
- Blood Petals: Each team member receives 6 Blood Petals.
- Blood Rose Plants: 6 large and 6 small Blood Rose plants spawn near the pit, providing additional stat boosts.
Blood Roses and Petals
Blood Roses are new plants spawning near champion deaths and Atakhan's pit (also after Ruinous Atakhan's defeat). They grant Blood Petals:
- Blood Petal Rewards: 25 XP (increased up to 100% for low K/D/A players) and 1 Adaptive Force (AD or AP).
- Rose Types: Small Roses grant 1 Petal; Large Roses grant 3 Petals.
Atakhan introduces a dynamic element to League of Legends, requiring teams to adapt their strategies based on his form and location, significantly impacting gameplay and resource acquisition.
