Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light on mobile has received a new "Try Before You Buy" update. Now available for both Android and iOS, this update allows everyone to try the game for free. The mobile version initially launched in February of this year.
What's included in the free trial of Lara Croft: Guardian of Light?
The latest update from Feral Interactive lets you experience the first two levels of this isometric action-platformer. Set deep within the Mexican jungle, you can replay these two introductory levels as often as you wish.
During these levels, you will fight undead creatures, avoid ancient traps, and solve environmental puzzles. Your goal is to stop the Aztec god of darkness, Xolotl, from shrouding the world in endless night.
You can unlock the complete game with a single in-app purchase of $9.99. The full version includes levels 3 to 14, plus an additional twelve bonus levels for extended play.
All your progress and scores from the trial version will transfer directly to the full game. You can revisit previous stages to find collectibles and improve your high scores. The game also lets you upgrade Lara's equipment and relics, which enhances her combat abilities.
Navigate deadly traps with Lara
This adventure blends intense action with environmental navigation. You will swing across gaps, explore ancient temples, and traverse treacherous swamps and volcanic caves. Lara is equipped with her iconic dual pistols and is controlled using a twin-stick setup.
