Review codes for the game, achieving gold status in early December, will be distributed "in the coming days," according to Tobias Stolz-Zwilling, the global public relations manager. To allow reviewers and streamers ample time for preparation, these codes are expected four weeks before the game's launch.
Interestingly, initial "final previews," utilizing portions of the review build, are anticipated a week following the code distribution.
The release date was shifted to deliver a polished and exceptional gaming experience to kick off 2025. The current release date is February 4th. This adjustment also helps mitigate competition with the simultaneous February launches of Assassin's Creed Shadows, Avowed, and Monster Hunter Wilds.
Platform availability includes PC, Xbox Series X/S, and PS5. Console players can expect 4K/30 fps and 1440p/60 fps support, with PS5 Pro optimization implemented since launch.
PC players aiming for ultra settings will require an Intel Core i7-13700K or AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D processor, 32GB of RAM, and a GeForce RTX 4080 or Radeon RX 7900 XT graphics card.
