During the event, catching enough Karrablast and Shelmet will allow you to evolve them into Escavalier and Accelgor, respectively, with exclusive charged attacks. Escavalier can learn Razor Shell, boasting a power of 35 in Trainer Battles and 55 in gyms and raids, while Accelgor gains the powerful Energy Ball, with a consistent 90 power across all battles.
For a small fee of $2 or your local equivalent, you can purchase a Community Day Special Research ticket. This ticket grants you access to a unique story featuring encounters with Karrablast and Shelmet against a Dual Destiny-themed Special Background. Additionally, the ticket includes more encounters, a Premium Battle Pass, and the coveted Rare Candy XL.
